Girl Scout Troop 2827
Make a Donation
Troop 2827, besides
making a donation of Girl Scout cookies, also spent $150 at Piggly Wiggly and other stores to donate a total of 174.6 lbs to
the Waunakee Food Pantry. When selling the cookies, they offered
the customers to "If you can't eat them, maybe you can treat
them" if they just wanted to make a monetary donation instead of
buying cookies. The boxes of Girl Scout cookies sold, 68,
resulted in an additional pairing of 68 gallons of milk from the
Dane County Dairy Promotion Committee.
